The winter season on the Quays of the Old Port begins in early December with the opening of one of Montreal’s finest refrigerated skating rinks, located at the Bonsecours Basin. Weather permitting, the natural ring of ice that surrounds it is connected to the artificial rink, adding half a kilometre of room to manoeuvre. Information:

Mount Royal is free, open and accessible to all, both summer and winter. You can skate on Beaver Lake, glide on cross-country ski trails, jog or just stroll and enjoy the scenery.
